She smiled into the camera, looking every bit like some mythical leather-clad goddess as she pranced around Cinderella in their latest music video. Steven Tyler stood transfixed, watching the sway of hips, the pouty mouth and the long ashen blond hair that swung around her heart shaped face.

His friends exchanged amused looks. It was 1986 and Done with Mirrors hadn't been a very succesful venture for Aerosmith. Most rock magazines claimed it wasn't well thought out.
"Who is that?" Steven asked pointing to the girl on tv who now sat in Tom Keifer's lap.
"She's Deidre--"Tom Hamilton said trying to think of a last name. It was something weird--no doubt a stage name. "Silver. Deidre Silver is her name."
"Deidre," Steven mumbled to himself. "I want to meet her," He told the group. "I'm going to meet her."
Steven and the others were currently working on another album. Well, they were trying. Steven was so coked up most of the time he never came to work, and when he did all the guys did was fight and argue.
'Was this the last of Aerosmith?' Joe wondered one day while he relized he hadn't written a song in a long, long time. He hoped not. After getting back together, he realized more than ever that this was his calling and he would do whatever it took to get Steven to realize Aerosmith wasn't at the top of the charts anymore. It was time they all got clean.
"Where's Steven?" Joey asked pounding out the rhythm of a song he was working on.
Joe shrugged. "looks like he's not makin' it. Let's call it quits for today." He added feeling very downhearted.
The rest of the band exchanged looks, grabbed their equipment, and headed for home.
Steven Tyler gradually came to. His brain swam before him and he frantically began to look for some more coke. Not finding any, he was soon enraged and tore through his apartment. When that didn't help Steven sat down on the floor, panting and wondering what had happened to him.
"That's it!" Steven exclaimed aloud to the empty room. "I'm going to find a party. They'll have blow there."

At a nightclub outside of Boston, Deidre Silver sat down at the bar. She was only sixteen but had been in this buisness for two months now. Deidre had finally fullfilled her dreams of becoming an actress and she was lovin' the rock n roll life. She had nearly all her favorite albums hand-autographed. Well...except one.It was an Aerosmith album.
Thinking about Aerosmith, made her think about home. Deidre didn't think about home too much. Her uncle had known an angent who promised to get her gigs. So far he'd kept his promises. He had made Deidre into a star. All the rock bands wanted her in their music videos, which was fine with Deidre, as she got to go to their concerts and party with the bands later.
It was definately the right kind of life.
She took a sip of the vodka she'd ordered. It was amazing. No one even asked her what her age was, they only asked if they could get her things.
Deidre twirled a strand of her ashen blonde hair around one finger, feeling incrediably alone. All the other people partied and rocked to Alice Cooper's "Trash" which was playing now. Deidre felt an incrediable aching in her heart.
Just then, almost as if right on cue, Deidre looked up as there was comotion at the door. She heard some groupies excitedly whisper among themselves, "That's Steven Tyler!"
Indeed it was. Steven sauntered into the bar, looking as if he owned the place. He wore a pair of red laeather pants and a silk white tee shirt that had a deep v cut to reveal his chest. Deidre noticed that he had outlined his upper and lower eyelids with black liner, a tear drop resting on his cheek. His hair hung down loose onto his shoulders.
Deidre felt something inside her pull as she looked at Steven. Wow She thought taking a quick sip and trying to be her normally nonchalant self.
Steven breezed past her, but stopped, long enough to give her a thrilling gaze. He then headed behind the red curtain, where the coke was distributed freely. Groupies were trying to pull each other back to be the first seen with Steven.
Deidre drained the rest of her drink. Her lightning bolt earings jangled against her cheek. She stood up. Tonight's outfit was a white muscle shirt and a black micromini. Her hair was pulled up, like how Madonna was wearing hers. Deidre walked past the groupies and into the room.
The local rock band, Hidden, was there tonight. They eagerly shared their blow with Steven. He yanked a mirror out and drew five lines, all in little crystal swirls. His eyes locked hypnotizingly on Deidre's. Deidre let herself smile briefly. Steven grinned back at her, a devilish glint in his magnetic eyes.
"Want some?" Steven asked her in his deep voice. He held the little straw out to Deidre.
Deidre bent down and snorted up two lines of coke. She flipped her head back, shaking her head and smiled at Steven handing the straw back to him. "Have fun." She told him and sauntered out, feeling Steven's eyes on her.
Deidre walked back to the bar, satisfied. That was always fun! She thought to herself. Though for the life of her, she truley never expected to meet Steven Tyler...at least, not like that.
"Ya know honay." A voice droaned close to her ear. "That wasn't very nice of you." She turned to see Steven sit in a stool beside her.
"What wasn't?" Deidre asked knowing perfectly well what he was talking about.
"Leaving like that after I let your snort up first." She grinned at him.
"I like to be a little mysterious." She explained.
"Ahh so that's it," Steven agreed. "Well tell me why are you here all by yourself? I figured someone as hot as you wouldn't have five minutes alone."
Deidre smiled. Hot? "You'd be surprised," she said to Steven. "I'm often surprised myself."

Deidre had to smile. "You'd be surprised."She said again to Steven. "Why aren't you with your band?"

Steven smiled impishly. "I go where the action goes."

"So I see."Deidre couldn't help grinning back at Steven. "But, thanks for the Coke.Very good stuff."

"I get only the best."Steven replied drumming his fingers on the tabletop.Deidre noticed some groupies shooting her death looks but she didn't notice--or care.

She paused for a moment. Now what?

Steven spoke. He was used to get his way---and any girl he wanted, at that. "Wanna go someplace else?"He asked her.

"I don't know."Deidre said a little nervously. "I mean I just met you."

"I feel like I've known you my whole life."Steven said honestly. He did.He remembered how mesmerised he felt watching Deidre in the music video on MTV.

"I bet you say that to all the pretty girls."She childed.

"No."Steven said his deep eyes burning into hers. "Just you."

Deidre felt a shiver race through her spine. This could be dangerous. She didn't want to seem like a groupie--but yet she was, wasn't she? A high priced one. She thought with a chuckle. "Okay."Deidre agreed. "I don't normaly do things like this just so you know."

"Neither do I."

They left.

The moon was high in the sky as Steven drove his little sports car down the road. They stopped at a cliff overlooking the city.It was beautiful.

"So."Steven said streatching. "How did you get here?In this rock life anyhow?"

Someone wanted to know about her.Again.Rock magazines featured her daily so she was surprised when Steven asked.Where had he been? She wondered.

"Well."Deidre said, twisitng the ring on her index finger. "My uncle knew someone who was an agent.I've always wanted to act, so the agent saw 'star potential' in me as he said.I was taken to L.A. for photo shoots and low and behold soon I was on a magazine cover."

Reflecting, Deidre remembered this crazy ride to so called fame. "I started hanging backstage at rock shows---Ozzy was the first famous person I ever met.It was so cool."She told him. "I was starstruck.I mean Black Sabbath was always my favorite."

Steven nodded in understanding. "Go on." He said in that smooth voice of his.

Deidre looked at the sky.A thousand twinkling stars washed over them.

"And after that I was in videos for a lot of the new bands that were coming out. There's really not much to it."She said shrugging.

"You don't sound happy."

"I don't?"Deidre frowned. "Maybe because once I thought if I had fame and money I would be happy y'know?"

He knew.All too well.

"And now I have all that and---and I'm not happy."She laughed, the laugh bitter and ironic. "Strange.I guess because I'm lonely.I don't get to date much."

Steven had never been so completely into a girl as he was Deidre Silver. He loved her.He knew that. They spent all their time together and Joe, who was a little jealous sometimes once called her their 'Yoko'.Tom had laughed and said "No that had been Cyrinda man." Joe didn't say anything else about Deidre after that.

Deidre lay in Steven's arms after he had made love to Deidre for the fifth time that day.She was asleep, breathing low and deep and he was on the verge of sleep.Steven didn't understand this sudden infatuation.Sure,he'd fallen in love before, but not like this. Not like where he thought he had to be with this woman constantly, and when he wasn't with her she was on his mind.It was like...like a spell almost.

He was going to marry her. He wanted her to have his children. With a contended sigh, Steven fell asleep.

Deidre had gotten another job for a Guns N Roses video. She was excited. They were her favorite new group. The bad thing was, they were filiming it in Santa Monica and she was in Boston, with Steven.Which ment, she would have to leave Steven for a few weeks. He wasn't happy.

"Dee I don't want ya to go." Steven pouted making him all the mour endearing to Deidre. She touched his face and smiled at him softly.

"I know Steve but I have to." She explained. "it's my job--it's what I do.Just like you.You wouldn't give up a show for me would you?"

No he wouldn't.But he'd want her their with him, the whole time.Except of course, when he was on stage.

"I can go with ya." Steven said watching her pack. "We're not tourin' yet.I got some time off comin' to me."

Deidre turned around. "I don't think that's a good idea." She said gently. She didn't want Steven to get the wrong idea. She loved him, but you know how the press was.Once they found out she was Steven Tyler's girlfriend, it would be all over. And Deidre wasn't ready to give up her career yet.Not by a long shot.

"Besides the guys need you here." She said to Steven.

He sighed. "maybe you're right. But I hate for you to be gone for five weeks.Whatever will I do to keep myself occupied?"

She grinned. "You can come visit me.I'll wear red.

"Steven grinned sexily. "Yuuum." he said. "I like ya in red babee."

"So do I." Deidre countered and they both laughed. Deidre was packed. "Drive me to the airport?"She asked suddenly having the feeling she would never see Steven again.

Steven nodded looking as miserable as she felt. They went to his new BMW, a front seater. It looked almost exactly like the car he would use in the 'Rag Doll' video.Except this one was blue, not red.Steven drove to the airport with Purple Haze playing. He sang along softly. Deidre loved to here Steven sing.He had such a beautiful voice.

They came to the airport.Steven went in with her.

For a long moment, they gazed into each other's eyes.

"I love you Deidre." He said simply and she felt her heart flutter.

"I love you too Steven." She returned, realizing it was the first time they had said 'I love you' to each other. She felt a pang in her heart, knowing these five weeks would be the longest, and the worst. She hugged Steven, already crying.

"the flight from Boston to L.A. is taking off." An attendant cried over the loudspeaker.

Deidre sighed. "I gotta go." She picked up her suitcases.

Steven pulled her in his arms for a kiss.It was long and deep, thrilling to the bone.A kiss she would remember forever and ever.

Finally Steven parted. She turned heading toward the airport, waved and boarded. It was the last time Steven saw her.

Deidre boarded the plane. She looked outside to se him waving and waved like crazy until he was a small spot. She got situated in her seat, luggage above her head and prepaired for a nice, relaxing first class flight.

Deidre soon fell alseep in dreams of Steven. She felt safe and warm when suddenly the plane hit turbulence.

"What's happening?" Deidre asked a stewardess who was walking past.

The stewardess's face was plae but she managed a smile. "Just some tuberlance that's---"

The captain's voice cut through. "We are experincing some techanacl diffulculties." He explained and told them all to get their seatbelts on.

Oh noThought Deidre. It's crashing!Crashing!Steven!

The plane began to shake violently. She felt it learch, then it was going down, down down....

Steven, steven Steven!Deidre chanted. I love you!

Thinking of Steven was the last thing Deidre ever did.

"We are now making our decent into LAX. Please stow your luggage under the seat in front of you and restore all seats and tray tables to their upright and locked positions."

The captain's voice snapped Deidre up with a start. The plane was slowly heading downwards. She sighed a sigh of relief when she found that she was still alive, and would be alive for the shoot. A wave of sadness swept over her. She could still feel Steven. Taste him. "Damn." She mumbled, surprised her little pillow was wet with tears. "It was just a dream!"
